What We All Have in Common

By

As a human race, we each have trauma in common. We all have the fallen world in common which is traumatic itself. We all know what it is like to be full of traumatic memories at times. We all know the memories we have trouble getting rid of. We all know what it is like to be cleansed of sin by the blood of Jesus Christ. We all are traumatic human beings, but with the gift of God, we can be cleansed from trauma and our traumatic sinful nature. We may have different levels of trauma but every human has a traumatic nature due to the sinful nature that separated itself from God. Being separated from God is traumatic enough.

How much Adam and Eve could have felt traumatic from their sinful actions. The shame they had felt and the separation it created from God. The very first sin became traumatic. When trauma entered the land, God was planning a restoration. The restoration to bring mankind back to Him again through Jesus. God deals with trauma different than we do, and He tends to take it personally. He could have walked away but He did not do that. He dealt with trauma head-on.

When trauma happens, look for the restoration. Look for the healing that comes from trauma. God dealt with the ultimate trauma moment by sending His Son Jesus for restoration.
